Avoid scams

Trading attracts scammers. Here are the most common traps around Steal An Egg and how to avoid them.

The “give first” trick

Someone asks you to give your pet first and promises something better in return. They will give nothing. Only accept trades done at the same time, in the game.

Fake codes and free Robux

No code exists in Steal An Egg. A site that promises some wants your account or wants you to install software.

“Scripts” and “auto steal”

Cheat scripts run through software that often steals your account, and Roblox bans cheaters. Never download them.

The fake staff member

An “admin” who messages you privately to check your account or to give you a pet is a scammer. Staff never ask for your password.

The link that asks you to log in

A page that looks like Roblox and asks for your password is a fake site. Always check that the address is roblox.com.

The inflated value

Someone says a pet is “worth a fortune” to get yours. Compare first with the trade calculator.

Before every trade

Put both sides in the trade calculator, check each pet's weight and mutation, and take your time: a real player does not rush you.
